Had the seafood tofu. It was great!
You can serve yourself your own white rice which is great because you can have as much rice as you like. :)
And the market is right there!
You can grab something to eat and then shop. -

Korean Market is the name, Korean Market is the game. It is pretty busy on a weekend. We intended to go to its restaurant situated in the very back. The restaurant is inside a smaller room and it has limited seating. Once we got a table, everything was good. We got the beef bulgogi and tofu bibimbap. We shared six sides for both meals, although I would have preferred my own six sides since I was hungry. It worked out either way.
The bibimbap was in a stone pot which was a few dollars extra, but it kept your food warm and the rice a little crispier! It was a little bland but they do provide you with some red sauce. The bulgogi was cooked perfectly and had the right amount of pizazz. Afterwards we shopped around the market, that held fresh produce, kimchi, and household materials, to name a few! -

Everything was very flavorful and tasty. Each dish had it's own unique flavor. Especially the sauce on the sauce on the chicken. Yum. 5 stars for the food!
On the negative side, preventing a 5 star rating. ...the place is really small and very hot, and the Korean ribs were pricey. I really didn't like or appreciate shelling $$ for a meal and then having to buss our own table. -

My daughter and I had come here before and loved it, so I brought my husband. Completely different experience! The woman who greeted my daughter and I brought out the side dishes before our food was ready. They were very nice. Exact opposite with my husband.
I asked the woman taking our order how the sweet and sour pork was (in Korean). She looked at me with disgust and said yes, it's very good. I told her one sweet and sour pork and one bulgogi for my husband (again, in Korean).
The food was great! I loved the sweet and sour pork. Soooo good! The bulgogi was a little dry. I asked the woman at the counter for more kimchi and cucumber kimchi. She gave me another disgusted look and told me to wait for her to finish packing up some food. A little rudely. I may have been a little more sensitive at this point, but I did think it came across as a little rude.
The grocery store before the restaurant is okay. They have the basics: kimchi, yellow pickled radish (takwang), mandoo, duk, and many other things.
The cashier told me to take the few things out of my hand held basket. But for the person behind me she said she could leave the stuff in the cart. Maybe because it was heavier? I hope so.
So overall, okay experience. My husband never wants to eat there again because he goes out to eat for the atmosphere, no matter how good the food is. I would go back for the food. Well, for the sweet and sour pork, not the bulgogi. -

This review is for Korean Restaurant which is a located inside of Korean Market. Based on the name you can tell it's owned by older immigrants whose sole purpose is to sell you food. Decor is an afterthought. I tried the grilled fish, jab chae and fried dumplings which I all liked. The variation on the type of side dish is welcoming. Rice is unlimited for dine-in. You fill your own water. The reason for the low rating is due to food handling. The cashier girl handled cash and used her bare hands to arrange the dumpling. This is simply NOT hygienic. Please separate contact between money handling and food prep. Safe sanitary food handling is actually good for business. I will update my review when I see improvement.
